Pricing
What affects the cost of last minute moving in Ajax
We do not publish a one-size-fits-all rate because no two moves are the same. Your quote is built from the size of the job, the access at both ends, the services you add and the date. It is free, written and fixed once the details are confirmed, so the price on the quote is the price on the invoice.
- Day of the weekWeekday availability is best; weekends and month-end are tightest.
- Packing statusUnpacked homes need packers or extra hours.
- Home sizeLarger homes may need a second truck at short notice.
- DistanceLong-distance same-day moves depend on truck availability.
- AccessElevator bookings may not be available at short notice; we plan around it.
- Time of dayEvening crews may carry a small premium.
Good to know
Moving In A Hurry: What To Do First
- Call us first so a crew is reserved while you prepare.
- Pack essentials and documents into one bag you keep with you.
- Empty the fridge and freezer into coolers or discard perishables.
- Put everything that is not going into one clearly marked area.
- Ask a neighbour or friend to help box loose items if packers are not available.
- Notify your building about the elevator, even if a formal booking is not possible.
- Take photos of the empty unit for your landlord.
- Arrange storage if the new place is not ready; do not let that delay the move-out.

FAQs
Questions about last minute movers in Ajax
Straight answers about how this service works in Ajax, what is included and how it is priced.
Can you really move me today in Ajax?
In most cases, yes. Availability depends on the day and season, so call as early as possible and we will confirm the soonest slot.
Is last-minute moving more expensive?
Our hourly rates are the same. A short-notice fee may apply for same-day bookings on peak days, and we will tell you before you confirm.
What do I need to have ready?
Ideally boxes packed and a clear path to the door. If you are not packed, ask about our emergency packing service.
Can you move me at night or on a Sunday?
Yes. Evening, weekend and holiday moves are available across Ajax.
Do you do last-minute long-distance moves from Ajax?
Yes, subject to truck availability. Contact us and we will find the fastest option.
How often do you move people between Ajax and Toronto?
Very often. Toronto is roughly 36 km away, and moves between the two are among the most common we handle. We plan around Highway 401 traffic and check condo elevator bookings or street parking at the Toronto address, so both ends of the move are covered before the truck is loaded.
