FAQs
Questions about specialty movers in Caledon
Straight answers about how this service works in Caledon, what is included and how it is priced.
What items count as a specialty move?
Anything heavy, fragile, oversized or valuable: safes, hot tubs, pianos, pool tables, artwork, antiques, sculptures, fitness equipment and commercial machinery.
Do you crate artwork and antiques?
Yes. Custom wooden crates and padded frames are built for artwork, mirrors and fragile antiques moving within or out of Caledon.
Can you move a hot tub in Caledon?
Yes. Hot tubs are drained, tilted onto a specialised dolly and moved with a crew of three or four depending on size and access.
How do you move a heavy safe?
With stair-climbing equipment, skates and a trained crew. Tell us the weight and location and we will plan the safest route.
How are specialty moves priced?
Each specialty move in Caledon is quoted individually based on the item, access and equipment required. Quotes are free and fixed.
Can a moving truck park on the road in Caledon?
Only within limits. Parking on Town roads overnight needs a pass year-round, daytime parking on a roadway is limited without one, and from November to the end of April no one may park on Caledon roads during winter weather. We load from your driveway wherever possible and plan around the forecast. Check the Town of Caledon website for current rules.
