Lanark Highlands movers for country homes near Ottawa

Ninety-four in a hundred homes in Lanark Highlands are detached houses, and only about one in ten households rent. Moves are overwhelmingly family-home jobs with basements, garages, sheds and often a workshop. About one in eight homes is recent, so some addresses have easy driveways and open layouts, while older farmhouses have narrow stairs. A quarter of residents are 65 or older, so downsizing is common. Condos and apartments barely exist, so elevator bookings are rare.

The township is spread out, and many addresses are on rural roads and long lanes that can be gravelled, narrow or steep. They soften in the spring thaw and drift in winter, so tell us the surface, the length and where a truck can turn. The village of Lanark is the main centre, and other addresses can be far from it, so a map pin is worth sending. Roughly one in twelve residents moved in the past year, so newcomers are arriving steadily.

Our crews serve Lanark Highlands and neighbouring places including Tay Valley, Mississippi Mills, Drummond-North Elmsley, Carleton Place, Perth and Beckwith. Ottawa is the nearest large centre at roughly 74 km, and Toronto is roughly 279 km, so many moves run toward the capital. A move from a Lanark Highlands lane to a new address in another province is one we plan from end to end. Describe both homes, including stairs, outbuildings and the lane, add your addresses, and a quote comes back to you.
