Movers in Conmee, Ontario

Conmee is a rural township in the Thunder Bay area, only about 32 km from the city, with detached homes on larger lots and larger-than-average households. Zero Hour Moving crews help households here move between country properties and Thunder Bay, with attention to lanes, outbuildings and winter conditions.

Conmee Township movers on the edge of Thunder Bay

Ninety-five in a hundred homes in Conmee are detached houses, and only about one in ten households rent. Households are larger than average, so moves are family-sized, with several bedrooms, basements, garages and often a workshop or shed. Few residents are seniors, and most of the housing is from recent decades, with fewer than half of homes built before the 1980s. Condos and apartments do not exist here, so elevator bookings never come up.

Conmee is part of the Thunder Bay area, so many residents commute to the city and moves tend to run in and out of town. Rural properties often have long gravel lanes that soften in the spring thaw and drift over in winter, so tell us the surface and the length, and where a truck can turn. Winters in northwestern Ontario are long and snowy, so keep flexibility in your dates and arrange plowing before moving day.

Our crews serve Conmee and nearby places such as O'Connor, Oliver Paipoonge, Gillies and Neebing, and the city of Thunder Bay itself. Thunder Bay is only about 32 km away, so many moves are short drives, while Toronto is roughly 956 km away, which makes any move out of the region a proper road trip. A Conmee household bound for another province faces one of the longest drives we plan, so the lane and the route are settled first. Quotes begin with two addresses and a few words about each home, so send those first.
